Elaine Johnson

Mrs. Elaine Erna Lester Johnson, age 71 of Murray, Kentucky, went to be with her precious Lord on Monday, November 12, 2018.

Mrs. Johnson was born August 2, 1947 in Schwabach, Germany to the late William Lester and Heidwig Troyer Lester. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Westfork Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William "Billy" Johnson; brother, William Lester.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years Emil S. Johnson Jr. of Murray, Kentucky, they made many wonderful memories in that time together; two sons, Rick Johnson and wife Danna of Wingo, Kentucky, Daniel Johnson and wife Jennifer of Kirksey, Kentucky; five grandchildren whom she adored, Crystal Brotherton of Lexington, Kentucky, Matthew Schmidt of Burlington, Wisconsin, Skylar Ray Johnson, Landon Johnson and Benjamin Johnson all of Kirksey, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
