Elizabeth "Ms. Bea" Cornett

Mrs. Elizabeth "Ms. Bea" Cornett, age 54, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mrs. Cornett was born on August 13, 1957 in Muhlenberg Co., Ky. to William Rufus and Barbara Jean Mayes Stanley. She had been a member of the Hope Harbor Church since 1976, and was the children's director for the church.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Cornett of Murray, Ky., they married October 1983 in Murray, Ky., mother, Barbara Jean Mayes Stanley of Greenville, Ky., two sons, Christopher Cornett and wife Rebekah of Roanoke, Va., Joshua Andrew Cornett and wife Stephanie of Louisville, Ky., seven sisters, Brenda Jackson and husband Bobby of Louisville, Ky., Brooksie Dukes and husband Mike of Greenville, Ky., Jeanetta Kelly of Dixon, Ky., Connie Slaughters of Clarksville, Tn., Cindy Polson of Dallas, Tx., Angel Darlene Taylor and husband Monte of Hazel, Ky., and Lisa Willis and husband Bryan of Russell Springs, Ky., brother, William Thomas Stanley and wife Jewel of Greenville, Ky., one grandson, Maxwell Cornett of Roanoke, Va.
Mrs. Cornett was preceded in death by her father, William Rufus Stanley and one brother, Rufus Glen Stanley.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hope Harbor Church, Art Heinz will officiate and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, May 28, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at the Hope Harbor Church. Visitation will also be held Tuesday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the church.
