Elizabeth Louise Shepperson

Mrs. Elizabeth Shepperson, age 88, of Murray, Kentucky died on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Anna Mae Owen Hospice House in Murray.

Mrs. Shepperson was born in Phoenix, Arizona on November 18, 1928 to the late Jasper Travis and Margaret Halbert Travis. She was a retired Presbyterian Minister and a Member of the Western Kentucky Presbytery, Presbyterian Church U.S.A.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, William Lee Ellison, 2nd husband, David Shepperson, step-daughter Grace Bass, Uncle, William Collins and Aunt, Polly Collins.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Summers and husband Dan of Ramona, California, and Mary Anne Broughton and husband J. Corky, of Murray, Kentucky; one step-daughter, Dorothy Morgan and husband Randy of Fischer, Texas; two sons, William Travis Ellison, and wife Laura Ann of Greenville, South Carolina, and Lee Collins Ellison, and wife Beth of Liberty Hill, Texas; also surviving is one step son-in-law, Daniel Bass and wife Andrea of Lanett, Alabama; also twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren survive.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church in Murray, Kentucky with Pastor Renee Meyer and Pastor Carol Wade officiating. Visitation and a celebration of life for Mrs. Elizabeth Shepperson will be held from 1-3 p.m. at the fellowship Hall at the First Presbyterian Church.
