Emily Diane Colson

Ms. Emily Diane Colson, age 26, of Sweetwater, Texas, formerly of Murray, Kentucky passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023, at the Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas.

Ms. Colson was born on October 31, 1997, in Murray, Kentucky. She was a 2016 graduate of Murray High School.

Ms. Colson is preceded in death by her mother, Crystal Diane Higgins; as well as two grandfathers, Glen Harold Colson and Tom Higgins

Survivors include her father, Terry Colson and wife Sherri of Murray, Kentucky; two grandmothers, Delphine Colson of Murray, Kentucky and Sheila Higgins of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Jessica Colson and fiancé Zachary Jones of Murray, Kentucky; two brothers, Cody Colson and wife Missy of Murray, Kentucky and Dakota Colson and fiancée Stephanie Twilley of Oklahoma; one stepsister, Amber Jones of Murray, Kentucky; as well as one stepbrother, Shawn Jones and wife Yolanda of Murray, Kentucky.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the Outland Cemetery with Bro. Corbin Jones officiating. There will be no public visitation held.
