Mrs. Emma Nell Mahan Steele, 93 of Murray, Ky., died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden, Tn.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Lone Oak United Methodist Church. She was born July 27, 1917 in Murray, Ky.
She is survived by one daughter, Jane Warrilow (Ret. Colonel Steve) of Dresden, Tn., on son, Bob Steele (Linda) of Lone Oak, Ky., sister, Sue Mahan Pocock of Murray, Ky., five grandchildren, Ronda Warrilow Johnson, Jacob Steele, Caroline Steele Torgesen, Sarah Steele, James Warrilow, also six great grandchildren, Emma Grace Warrilow, Carys Torgesen, Steven Johnson, Jake Torgesen, Wesley Warrilow, Skye Torgesen.
Mrs. Steele is preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Steele, parents, Jacob Levi and Ethel Roberta Griffin Mahan, two sisters, Grace Mahan Duke, Beurdean Mahan Wrather.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Temple Hill Cemetery, Rev. Glynn Hill will officiate.
