Emma Lou Stom

Mrs. Emma Lou Stom, age 88, of Murray, Kentucky died at her home on Saturday, October 17, 2015.

Mrs. Stom was born October 7, 1927, in Lynnville, Kentucky to the late Connie and Mettie Foy Bruce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Stom; four sisters, Signa Foy, Ruell Foy, Geneva Dudney, and Mary Workman; two brothers, Tansil "Pete" Bruce, and Wayne Bruce.

Mrs. Stom was retired from Fisher-Price in Murray, Kentucky, and was a member of the Lynnville Baptist Church.

She is survived by one brother in law, Earl Workman of Palmersville, Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Bro. Jimmy Stom will officiate, and burial will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield, Kentucky. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 5-8 p.m., at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
