Erline Babcock

Mrs. Erline S. Babcock, 94, of Murray, KY, died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 in Thebes, IL. Mrs. Babcock was born in Craig, Colorado on December 3, 1916 to the late Charles Wm. Smith and Kittie Clair (Morris) Smith. Mrs. Babcock was a homemaker and a member of the New Concord Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Babcock was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Z. Babcock, who died Sept. 14, 1981; also by five brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Babcock is survived by one daughter, Donna Cox and husband Errol of Thebes, IL; one son, Wayne L. Babcock of Murray, KY; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held, Monday, January 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home in Murray with Edd Sterchi officiating. Burial to follow in the New Concord Cemetery in New Concord, KY. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the funeral home.
