Eurie Garland

Mr. Eurie Garland, 86, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Murray, Ky., died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Village in Louisville, Ky.
He was a member of the West Murray Church of Christ, former board member of the Bank of Murray, and was the retired owner and operator of Garland’s Used Cars, he was an Army Veteran of WWII, Born May 21, 1924 in Calloway Co. KY.
He is survived by his wife, Polly Fitts Garland of Louisville, Ky., they married May 11, 1946 in Corinth, Ms., two daughters, Pam Underwood of Prospect, Ky., and Rhonda Johnson of Bowling Green, Ky., four grandchildren, John and Mary Underwood of Prospect, Ky., Hannah Johnson of Murray, Ky., James and Heather Johnson of Bowling Green, Ky.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Jefferson and Verdie Lou Morgan Garland, two sons, Johnny and Ronnie Garland, sister, Neva Champion, and brother, James Garland.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, John Dale Will officiate and burial will be in the Outland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
