Eva McCallon Tidwell

Mrs. Eva McCallon Tidwell age 69 of Murray, Ky., died Friday, June 1, 2012.
Mrs. Tidwell was born Oct. 28, 1942 in Calloway Co., Ky., to the late Hoyt and Nitaree Brewer McCallon. She was also preceded in death by one son Eric Jones, and a brother, Rob McCallon.
She was a retired nurse with the Murray Calloway Co. Hospital, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Tidwell of Murray, one daughter, LaDonna Smith and husband Johnny of Kirksey, Ky., step daughter, Anita Suazo and husband Reuel of Albuquerque, N.M., Son, Richard Jones of Woolwich Township, NJ., Step son, Randy Tidwell and wife Emily of Gallatin, Tn., two sisters, Reba Parrish and husband Lubie of Murray, Helen Nunnly of Mayfield, Ky., nine grandchildren, Brandon Jones of Louisville, Ky., Sydney Smith of Kirksey, Amanda Tidwell of Madisonville, Ky., Ashleigh and Charlotte Jones of Woolwich township, N.J., Nicolas and Andrew Suazo of Albuquerque, N.M., and Abby and Jesse Tidwell of Gallatin, Tn.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Bro. Bob Saywell, Bro. Jim Stahler, and And Dr. Rick Dye will officiate, and burial will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
