Diane Wilson

Mrs. Diane Wilson, age 79, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

 Mrs. Wilson was born July 14, 1945, in Calloway, County to the late Dolphus and Roxie Manon Wilson. She retired from Briggs and Stratton and was a member of the North Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

 In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her son Mark Allen “Moochie” Herndon and daughter in-law Shan Herndon; as well as one brother, William Wilson. 

 Survivors include three sisters; Euple Thompson of Boaz, Kentucky; Wanda Wilson of Murray, Kentucky; and Carolyn Woods and husband Dennis of Almo, Kentucky; one brother; Kent Wilson and wife Tina of Almo, Kentucky; five nieces, Sherri Ferguson of Murray, Kentucky, Lisa Fuqua and husband Todd of Almo, Kentucky, Angela Stalls and husband Monte of Almo, Kentucky, Ladon Wilson of Almo, Kentucky, and McKaylon Henson and husband Hunter of Almo, Kentucky; three nephews, Jeffrey Thompson and wife Tracie of Boaz, Kentucky, Scott Thompson of Nashville, Tennessee, and Casey Wilson of Almo, Kentucky; as well as several great and great-great nieces and nephews. 

 A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Bethel Cemetery. Bro. Sammy Cunningham and Danny Pruitt will officiate, and burial will follow. No public visitation will be held.
