Frances Kelso

Mrs. Frances (Thompson) Kelso, age 94, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray.

Mrs. Kelso was born on May 29, 1924, in Hymon, Kentucky to the late Alvie Thompson and Hilan Shackelford Thompson. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Hardy Kelso; as well as two brothers, Otiste Thompson and Loyd Thompson.

Survivors include one daughter, Luna Kelso Greer and husband Kenneth of Murray, Kentucky; and one granddaughter, Amanda Greer Young and husband Chad of Almo, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Kenneth Greer will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
