Frances Wilkerson

Mrs. Frances Wilkerson, age 71, of Murray, Kentucky, died Monday, August 8, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Wilkerson was born June 6, 1945 in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Kelly Burton and Vonell Oliver Burton. She was a retired Bank Teller with the Bank of Murray, and the Murray Bank. She was also a member of the Northside Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Cox.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Wilkerson of Murray, Kentucky, they married August 18, 1963 in Corinth, Mississippi; daughter, Ciera Cox of Murray, Kentucky; son, Mark Wilkerson and wife Suzanne of Paris, Tennessee; sister, Audie Dick of Murray, Kentucky; and one grandchild, Jessica French and husband Brandon of Paris, Tennessee.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Brett Miles and Rev. Kerry Lambert will officiate. The burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5-8 p.m., at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
