Frankie Mills Lax

Mrs. Frankie Mills Lax, age 86, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at the Passion and Purpose Private Homecare in Murray, Kentucky.

Mrs. Lax was born on February 22, 1937, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Lee Mills and Ozella Bradley Mills. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sinking Spring Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Edwin Lax; as well as one sister, Laverne “Tootie” Mills.

Survivors include one son, Tim Lax and wife Renee of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Jordan Lax of Murray, Kentucky and Neil Lax and wife April of Murray, Kentucky; as well as additional family and close friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Randy Kuykendall and Bro. Carl Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
