Freda Humphreys

Mrs. Freda Humphreys, age 86, of Murray, Kentucky died on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
Mrs. Humphreys was born February 20, 1931 in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Odell Orr and Mayme Carraway Orr. Mrs. Humphreys was a homemaker, and member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school class for 32 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Humphreys, brother, Max Orr.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Oder and husband David of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Beth Morris and husband Jerry of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Ann Bennett of Murray, Jane Orr of Murray; sister in law, Helen Humphreys of Murray; two brothers, J.D. Orr of Murray, and Ronald Orr of Murray; four grandchildren, Matthew Morris of Murray, Maggie Francisco and husband Ricky of Murray, Derek Oder of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Dylan Oder of Lawrenceville, Georgia; two great grandchildren, Preston and Ellie.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 18, 2017 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Stahler will officiate and burial will follow in the South Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11a.m. till 1p.m. Monday, December 18, 2017 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
