Mrs. Gail Annette (Bailey) Harris, age 47, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at her home after an extended illness.

Mrs. Harris was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on February 21, 1970. Mrs. Harris had recently retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) as a Business Support Representative. She was a graduate of Murray State University and a member of the University Church of Christ.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ad and Mary Bailey; and her maternal grandparents, O.W. Folwell and Reba Folwell Herndon.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, John Harris of Murray, Kentucky, to whom she married on October 20, 2001 in Murray, Kentucky; parents, Green and Wanda (Folwell) Bailey; one sister, Gwen Pruitt and husband Ronnie of Grand Rivers, Kentucky; one brother, Greg Bailey and wife Dina of Commack, New York; three nieces, Christine Jones and husband John, Stephanie Bailey and Anastasia Presser; as well as her beloved cat, "Purrcival".

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the University Church of Christ with Charley Bazzell officiating.
