Gary "Buster" Ray

Mr. Gary E. "Buster" Ray, age 64, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, March 04, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Ray was born in Murray, Kentucky on July 20, 1950 to the late Will Eaker Ray and Lillian Irene (Morgan) Ray. Mr. Ray was an auto dealer and was a member of the Goshen United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents Mr. Ray was preceded in death by his step-father, Ulis Woods; grandson, Brady Ray; and brother-in-law, Dan Harrell.

Mr. Ray is survived by his wife Trecia Ray of Murray, Kentucky to whom he married on August 14, 1970 in Murray, Kentucky; four sons, Bradford Ray of Murray, Kentucky, Brock Ray of Murray, Kentucky, Brinden Ray and wife Ali of Mayfield, Kentucky and Benjamin Ray of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Barbara Harrell of Murray, Kentucky and Gloria Thomas of Murray, Kentucky; two brothers, Larry Ray and wife Marilyn of Murray, Kentucky and Danny Woods and wife Earleene of Murray, Kentucky; as well as five grandchildren, Audrey Ray, Romy Ray, Max Ray, Mason Ray and Caitlynn Ray.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the funeral home.
