Gary Charles Smothermon

Mr. Gary Charles Smothermon, age 73, of Murray, Kentucky died at his home on Sunday, January 06, 2019.
Mr. Smothermon was born on March 28, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Charles Smothermon and Wille Mae (Stubblefield) Smothermon. Mr. Smothermon was a retired boilermaker with local #363 out of St. Louis, Missouri and a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Mr. Smothermon is survived by his wife, Teresa Smothermon of Murray, Kentucky, whom he married on March 16, 1995 in Murray ,Kentucky; two daughters, Malayna Smothermon and fiancé Logan Fox of Murray, Kentucky and Sadie Smothermon of Murray, Kentucky; one step-son, John Charles Barton and wife Jennifer of Sikeston, Missouri; one sister, Joyce Kendall of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and two expected grandchildren ; as well as one great-grandchild.
There will be no public services. A private family service is being planned for a later date.
