Gearl Don Bucy

Mr. Gearl Don Bucy, age 68, of Almo, Kentucky, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Bucy was born in Calloway Co., Kentucky on March 22, 1944 to the late Kirby Dewey Bucy and Gracie Nanney Bucy. Mr. Bucy retired from the Goodyear Tire Plant after 30 years of service with the company; he was of Baptist faith.
Mr. Bucy is survived by his wife, Emma Bucy of Almo, to whom he married on December 7, 1963 in Junction, Illinois; one daughter, Emily A. Murphy of Almo; three sons, Van A. Bucy and wife Lisa, Donnye D. Bucy and wife Salena and Joshua P. Bucy ane wife Crystal all of Murray; two sisters, Tonya Bucy Drennon of Puryear, Tennessee and Tena Bucy Rodden and husband Ray of Georgia; one brother, Howard G. Bucy and wife Dianne of Lynn Grove, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Audrey E. Bucy, Halye N. Bucy, Hunter B. Bucy, Wesley A. Cook, Katlyn J. Cook, Sydney M. Murphy, Seth A. Murphy, Cheyenne A. Bucy and J. Tyler Bucy; one great grandchild, Lulu Swierk; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Miles officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – until funeral hour (2:00p.m.) on Sunday at the funeral home.
