Gena Kay McKinney

Mrs. Gena Kay McKinney, age 55, of Dexter, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mrs. McKinney was born on December 14, 1964, in Murray, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her father, Phillip Gene Rogers.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby McKinney of Dexter, Kentucky; to whom she married on December 16, 1989, in Murray, Kentucky; mother, Fredda Workman Rogers of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Lauren Alexander and husband Chris of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Seth McKinney of Paducah, Kentucky; one brother, Bruce Rogers and wife Tammy of Murray, Kentucky; aunt, Leah Workman Steeves of Murray, Kentucky; uncle, Richard Workman and wife Brenda of Greenville, South Carolina; as well as two grand dogs, Dixie and Ellie.
Due to the current pandemic of the Coronavirus there will be no public service or visitation held. Mrs. McKinney will be buried at Brooks Chapel Cemetery.
