Mr. Gene Outland, age 72, of Almo, Kentucky, died Wednesday, December 07, 2016 at Oakview Nursing and Rehab in Calvert City, Kentucky.
Mr. Outland was born on June 27, 1944 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Rupert Outland and Margaret (Stevens) Outland. Mr. Outland was a retired painter and was a member of the Flint Baptist Church.
Mr. Outland is survived by his wife, Sandy Outland of Almo, Kentucky, to whom he married on June 28, 1984; two sons, Blaine Outland and wife Angie of Murray, Kentucky and Kerry Outland and wife Kim of Princeton, Kentucky; two step sons, Bobby Peery of Tampa, Florida and David Snow and wife Penny of Mayfield, Kentucky; one step daughter, Becky Snow Crittenden of Tallahassee, Florida; one sister, Geraldine McCLard of Almo, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Neena Outland Salazar and husband Alex, Justin Outland, Wes Outland, Madison Outland, Caden Outland, Raleigh Outland; and one step grandson, Chandler Littlefield.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Flint Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Cope officiating.
