Gene Dale Steely

Mr. Gene Dale Steely, age 80, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mr. Steely was born February 23, 1938, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Aubrey White Steely and Rubye Boggess Steely. He was a Residential and Commercial Builder and Land Developer. He was a craftsman who built cabinetry, furniture, grandfather clocks and boats. He enjoyed boating and deep see fishing and was an airplane pilot.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Darnell; sister in law, Sue Edwards; granddaughter, Stacey Marie Steely.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Mona Edwards Steely of Murray, Kentucky; three daughters, Dorisanna Hall and husband Rob, Caroline Butler and husband Tim and Gena Steely Bethurem and husband Jim; son, Gene Steely II; brother, James Dan Steely; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren survive.
No services will be held.
