Geneva Farris

Mrs. Geneva Farris, 65, of Murray, KY died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at her home following an extended illness.
Born May 25, 1946 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Bruce and Melvie Colson Garland, she was a homemaker and a member of New Concord Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Gaery Farris, whom she married May 17, 1963 in Dresden, TN., two sons, John Farris (Dena) of College Station, TX, Mark Farris (Sandy) of Murray, KY., three sisters, Jenetta Rigenelli of Benton, Ark., Carolyn Caldwell, and Kim Hendon (Roger)all of Murray, KY., one brother, Timmy Garland, of Murray, KY., and three grandchildren, Justin Farris of Memphis, TN., Laura Farris and Colby Farris both of Murray, KY.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Danny Garland, two sisters, Debbie Garland and Janice Padgett.
Funeral services will be held at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. Bro. Steven Hunter and Bro. Bob Palmer will officiate, and burial will follow in the Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011.
