George Stephen Barrow

Mr. George Stephen Barrow age 62 of Puryear, Tn., died Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, in Nashville, Tn.
Mr. Barrow was born July 7, 1949 in Murray, Ky., he was a retired truck driver and was a former employee of Holley carburetor plant in Paris, Tn. He was a member of the Blood River Church of Christ, an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a member of the V.F.W.
Survivors include his mother, Juanita Mathis Barrow of Puryear, Tn., sister, Gail Herndon (Danny) of Hazel, Ky., brother, Tommy Barrow (Janie) of Puryear, Tn., also several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Eugene Barrow.
Funeral service will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Josh Herndon and Erik Davis will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
