George Earl Maxlow

Mr. George Earl Maxlow, age 80 of Water Valley, Kentucky, died Friday, August 20, 2021, at his daughters' home.

Mr. Maxlow was born on May 25, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan to the late George E. Maxlow and Lillian (LaForge) Switzer. He was retired from Mattel and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn (Alton) Maxlow; as well as one son, James Lee.

Survivors include one daughter, Nicole (Maxlow) Carnahan of Water Valley, Kentucky; five sons, Nathan Maxlow and wife Jana of Benton, Kentucky, Tracy Maxlow and wife Joni of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Kenneth Maxlow of Minot, North Dakota, Gary Lee of Texas, and Jeff Lee of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; five sisters, Linda Dickson, Marlene Hentchel, Dorothy Ash, Mary Lou Maxlow, and Elizabeth Hutson; six brothers, John Maxlow, Gerald Maxlow, Douglass Maxlow, Bill Maxlow, Ed Switzer, and Harry Switzer; nine grandchildren, Landon Hicks, Benjamin Carnahan, Hailey Carnahan, Zander Maxlow, Zoe Maxlow, Brennan Maxlow, Brad Maxlow, Chad Maxlow, and Cody Maxlow; as well as eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Trad York officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
