Mr. Gerald Gallimore, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, died on, Saturday, October 31, 2020, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.
Mr. Gallimore was born on March 21, 1942, in Henry County, Tennessee to the late Rexford A. Gallimore and Ruby Mayzelle Wright Gallimore. He was a retired farmer and was also retired from ANR Pipeline after 25 years of service. Mr. Gallimore was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Lanita Malcom Lee; as well as one brother, James "Jimmy" Gallimore.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Smith Gallimore of Murray, Kentucky; they married on June 22, 1963, in Hazel, Kentucky; one daughter, Sherri Gallimore of Jeffersontown, Kentucky; one son, Roger Gallimore and wife Vona of Murray, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Neely Saltsman and husband Tyler of Murray, Kentucky, Emma Gallimore of Murray, Kentucky, and Tanisha Norman and husband Trey of Tri City, Kentucky; as well as two great-grandchildren, Trelynn Norman of Tri City, Kentucky and Tye Norman of Tri City, Kentucky.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Jordan Roach officiating. Burial will follow in the West Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
