Mr. Gerald T. Stone

Mr. Gerald T. Stone, age 87, of Kirksey, Kentucky, passed away, Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky. 

Mr. Stone was born on August 10, 1937, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late James Stone and Sylvia Stone. He was a retired farmer, carpenter, and owner of the Kirksey Store. Mr. Stone was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ and was an avid golfer and shuffleboard player. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Sue (Robertson) Stone; as well as one sister, Linda Edwards. 

Survivors include one daughter, Vanessa Fike (Bobby) of Kirksey, Kentucky; two sons, Kerry Stone (Sandra) of Murray, Kentucky and Randy Stone of Almo, Kentucky; one sister, Donna Russell (Gale) of Mayfield, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Clint (Tori) Stone of Murray, Kailey (Kyle) Starks of Almo, Amanda Stone of Addison, Alabama, Tyler Stone of Nashville, Tennessee, Chris (Emily) Fike of Almo, and Landon (Kennedy) Fike of Nashville, Tennessee; as well as 12 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Tucker Cemetery in Kirksey, Kentucky with John Dale officiating. There will be no public visitation held.
