Geraldine Davis

Ms. Geraldine Davis, age 79, of Murray, Kentucky, died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
She was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church; she was retired as a Certified Nurse's Aide.
She was born in Almo, Kentucky on March 13, 1934 to the late Cecil and Myrtle Hopkins. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by one son, Robert Michael Davis; one daughter-in-law, DeAnna Davis; one granddaughter, Audrey Laubaugh; one great granddaughter, Skylynn Hall; four sisters, Mildred Dodd, Dorothy McClure, Oeda Shimmer, Mae Dell Bucy.
Ms. Davis is survived by five daughters, Patsy Robinson and husband William of Saratoga Wyoming, Diane Lofland of Farmington, Kentucky, Tina Laramie and husband Daniel of Manistique Michigan, Brenda Eaton and husband Michael of Saratoga Wyoming, Gloria Laubaugh and husband Bret of Moline Michigan; one son, Tim Davis of Novi, Michigan; two sisters, Janie Yearry of Almo, Kentucky, Laura Finney of Alabaster Alabama; one brother, Larry Hopkins of Mayfield, Kentucky; sixteen grandchildren Mark Dantes, Crystal Dantes, Alyssa Clegg, Jennifer Lofland, Joseph Lofland, Hannah Davis, Benjamin Davis, Sarah Davis, Laura Davis, Allison Laramie, Amanda Laramie, Patrick Severns, Kylie Severns, Jacob Severns, Cecelia Laugaugh, Davis Laubaugh; two great grandchildren, Ragan Hall and Aubrey Williams.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Rob Ison will officiate with burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church from 8:30 am till funeral hour.
