Getella Redus

Mrs. Getella Redus, 90, of Murray, died Thursday, December 05, 2013 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mrs. Redus was born December 5, 1923, in Warmsprings, Ark., to the late JR. and Addie Hudson Best. She retired from Fisher Price, was a homemaker, and a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Redus was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Pete Redus, daughter, Jewell Dean Kennon, brother, Morgan Best.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Jamie Story and husband Ralph of Paducah, Ky.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, John Dale will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2013, from 3-7 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
