Mr. Glenn VanSickle, age 69, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, July 29, 2021, at his home.
Mr. VanSickle was born October 10, 1951, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Glenn was a graduate of Lehigh University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He was a retired Electrical Engineer in the Nuclear Power Industry. Glenn was a member of the of the Eastwood Baptist Church, and was the chairman of the Calloway County Senior Center Board.
Preceding him in death was his father, Albert VanSickle.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Shaw VanSickle of Murray, Kentucky - they married on October 9, 1981, in Oakland, Maryland - mother, Doris VanSickle of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; three daughters, Kelly Costanzo (Frank) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tammy Steiger (Dave) of Butler, Pennsylvania, Jennifer Miner (Eric) of St. Augustine, Florida; one son, Adam VanSickle of Paducah, Kentucky; two sisters, Judy Golden of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and Janet Lewis (Gordy) of Florida; seven grandchildren, Kaylin Ferguson, BJ Miner, Sarah Ferguson, Austin Miner, Allison VanSickle, Spencer VanSickle, and Elizabeth Costanzo; as well as one great-grandchild, Maverick Miner.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, August 2, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Andy Harrell officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., on Monday, August 2, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
