Gordon T. Greenup

Mr. Gordon T. Greenup, age 64, of Murray, Kentucky, formerly of Dover, Tennessee died on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

Mr. Greenup was born in Murray, Kentucky on March 19, 1950 to the late Gordon R. Greenup and Jewel (Lyons) Greenup. Mr. Greenup was a retired radio disc jockey and member of the University Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents Mr. Greenup was preceded in death by three brothers.

Mr. Greenup is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Wilson of Elkton, Kentucky; two sisters, Carol Boren and husband Dale of Florence, Alabama and Linda Dalton of Portland, Tennessee; as well as three grandchildren, C.J. Wilson, Keira Wilson and Gloria Wells.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Stewart County Memorial Gardens in Dover, Tennessee at 2:00 p.m. with Richard Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
