Gracie Smith

Mrs. Gracie G. Smith, age 96, of Kirksey, KY, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at her residence.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the Mt. Olive Church of Christ, born Oct. 1, 1913 in Calloway co., Ky.
She is survived by her daughter, Lillie Mae Brooks (Elmer) of Commerce, Tx., two sons, Bobby James Smith (Deanie) of Murfreesboro, Tn., Larry Gay Smith (Glenna) of Dry Ridge, Ky., also Nine grandchildren, Eighteen great grandchildren, and Six great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Smith, parents, William Henry and Sarah Wyatt Byerly, son, Hiram H.E. Smith, brother, Frank Byerly, sisters, Delsie Crass, Lucy Roach, grandson, John Allen Brooks.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery, John Mays will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 5-9 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
