Graham Feltner

Mr. Graham Feltner, 95, of Murray, Kentucky died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.

Mr. Feltner was born in Stewart County, Tennessee on May 8, 1917 to the late Benjamin Earl Feltner and Nannie Shelton Feltner. Mr. Feltner a retired farmer; worked as a custodian at the Calloway County High School as well at Murray State University; he also worked as the parking attendant at Peoples Bank now BB&T. Mr. Feltner was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murray and was a member of the S & C Sunday School Class. Mr. Feltner was a 60 plus year member of the Masons; he served on the Murray – Calloway Co. Hospital Board from April 1969 until March 1989; served on the Board of Directors and was a past president of the Calloway County Farm Bureau and has been a member since 1962; and he was a member of the Conservation Camp Corp.

In addition to his parents Mr. Feltner was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Walker Feltner, who died in 2006; two sisters, Mary Sholar and Irene Moore; and by three brothers, Cecil Feltner, Edison Feltner and Marshall Feltner.

Mr. Feltner is survived by one son, Jim Feltner and wife Linda of Murray; one sister,Dolly Clayton of Nashville, Tennessee; two brothers, Clinton Feltner of Woodlawn, Tenessee and Dr. Bill Feltner and wife Sandy of Clarksville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Tim Feltner and wife Karen of Woodstock, Georgia and Tammy Rogers and husband Jeff of Arlington, Texas; as well as three great grandchildren, Adam Rogers of Arlington, Texas, Emma and Rachel Feltner both of Woodstock, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Paul Lyons, Jim Stahler, Tim Feltner and Jeff Rogers officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the funeral home.
