Greg Auston McCallum (formerly of Murray, KY), 61 years old, passed away Thursday, December 15th at his home in Kansas City.
Greg was born in Murray, Kentucky on December 6, 1961.
He was a carpenter by trade and worked in construction for over 25 years. Greg was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He liked to fish and playfully aggravate those he loved. He was well known for his wit, storytelling, and his unique and often humorous insights about the world.
Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Alan McCallum.
Survivors include his son, Derek McCallum and wife Kassa; and their children Luke and Matthew of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Amber Stubblefield and husband James, and their children, Cora and Ava of Paducah, KY; daughter, Madison McCallum of Murray, KY; mother, Agnes McClain and husband Charles of Murray, KY; father Franklin McCallum and wife Nira of Murray, KY; sister, Gina Jones and husband Larry; brother, Michael McCallum and wife Jessica; nieces and nephews, Ashley, Britney, Mason, Ashton, Myla, and Kinsley; aunt, Anna Wells and husband Don of Murray, KY.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Grove of Murray, 1300 North 16th Street, Murray, Kentucky 42071, on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held for family and friends from 1:00 â 3:00 p.m.
