Mr. Hal Bluford "Hoolie" Allbritten, age 79, of Murray, Kentucky, died Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the Murray- Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Allbritten was born March 23, 1942, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Wendall and Sadie Wilson Allbritten. Hal retired from Pennwalt Chemical after 30 years as a chemical operator. He was also a farmer and cattleman and attended the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Joanna Wilder.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Wilson Allbritten of Murray, Kentucky; two daughters, Karla Allbritten of Murray and Amy Allbritten and husband Bryan Hale of Murray; one brother, Isaac Allbritten and wife Pat of Murray; two grandchildren, Audrey Allbritten and Juna Allbritten both of Murray; two great grandsons, Liam and Ivan Allbritten both of Murray; also, several nieces and nephews, great nephews and great great niece and nephew.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. John Dale and Rev. Kerry Lambert will officiate, and burial will follow in the Allbritten Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2021at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
