Hallie "Mamie" Williams

Mrs. Hallie Prentice "Mamie" (Smith) Simmons Williams, age 99, of Murray, Kentucky died on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray.

Mrs. Williams was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on October 14, 1917 to the late Hairm Lafayette Smith and Lilly Mae (Killebrew) Smith. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker, a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ and the Young N Hearts Sunday School Class.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor Simmons; second husband, Callie Williams; two sons, Kenneth Simmons and Gary Simmons; two sons-in-law, Roger Usher and Harold Turner; as well as 17 brothers and sisters, Eunice, Lewis, Meakle, Lois, Audie, Cecil, Refus, Euel, Kermit and twin, Destin, Lloyd, Lorene, Brooks, Ruby, Rudy and Hayden.

Mrs. Williams is survived by one daughter, Judy (Simmons) Usher Turner of Murray, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Steve Simmons and wife Vicki, Shawn Simmons and wife Keri, Shea Simmons and wife Cheeky, Russell Usher and wife Felicia, Angela Jackson, Tammy Salcedo and husband Rod and Victoria Dennis and husband Rob; 12 great grandchildren, Ashley Donohoo and husband Andrew, Brock Simmons, Summer Simmons, Kayla Luker and husband Sam, Lauren Simmons, Kristen Dennis, Madison Dennis, Bryson Dennis, Bree Salcedo, Audrey Salcedo, Kaylee Jackson and Zoe Simmons; two step great grandchildren, Bailey Morefield and Beau Maness; three great-great grandchildren, Jaxton Coleman, Lovett Luker and Lennon Luker; as well as one daughter-in-law, Judy Ann Simmons Hamilton of Mayfield, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
