Harold Garner

Mr. Harold D. Garner, age 68, of Almo, Kentucky died on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.

Mr. Garner was born in Murray, Kentucky on June 14, 1946 to the late Coy Crass and Johnie Enoch Crass. Mr. Garner had retired from Morning Star Foods and he was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents Mr. Garner was preceded in death by one daughter, Jackie Cooper; one son, Michael Garner; and by two brothers, Hugh Gray Crass and Mason Crass.

Mr. Garner is survived by two daughters, Rena Moore and friend Freddy of New Concord, Kentucky and Deana Cook and husband John of Dickson, Tennessee; two sons, Johnny Garner of Murray, Kentucky and Jason Garner and wife Sara of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Paulette Underhill and husband Danny of Murray, Kentucky; ten grandchildren, Brittany Moore, Warren Ryan, Daniel Garner, April Cooper, Tad Garner, Heath Garner, Caitlin Garner, Jordan Garner, Brittany Scott and Katie Scott; as well as seven great grandchildren, Ella Moore, Carson Garner, Cody Garner, Alexis Garner, Weston Francisco, Ella Scott and James Carter Scott.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Elijah Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until funeral hour (1:00 p.m.) at the funeral home.
