Mr. Harold Linard Hill, age 86, of Benton, Kentucky formerly of Almo, Kentucky died on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Lake Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Benton, Kentucky.
He was a farmer and carpenter as well as an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Harold was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on January 22, 1933 to the late Audrey and Autumn Duncan Hill. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Glass Hill; one sister, Pauline Morris; one brother, Frank Hill; one granddaughter, Bridgette Maness.
He is survived by the mother of his four children, Donna Gamble of Almo, Kentucky; two daughters, Cindy Miles and husband John of Almo, Kentucky and Melissa Wallace and husband Johnny of Benton, Kentucky; two sons, Levi Hill and wife Nancy of Paducah, Kentucky and Randy Hill of Kirksey, Kentucky; three brothers, Howard Hill and wife Jean of New Concord, Kentucky, Glenn Hill and wife Kathy of Brunswick, Georgia and Daryl Hill and wife Phyllis of Almo, Kentucky; twelve grandchildren, Hunter Bishop, Jonathon Hill, Jessica Anthony, Logan Hill, Jason Hill, Justin Hill, Autumn Hill, Hannah Hill, Cory O'Neill, Jeremy Marshall, Kala O'Bryan and Jordan Garner; eighteen great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2019 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Bro. Elijah Balentine and Chaplain Brent D. Easton will officiate with burial to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. till funeral hour at the funeral home.
