Helen V. Bean

Mrs. Helen V. Bean, age 65, of Dexter, Kentucky died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.

Mrs. Bean was born on March 22, 1952 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Harold Starr and Dorothy Bishop Starr. She was a retired L.P.N. and of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers; David Starr, Jeffrey Starr and Walter Starr, as well as one grandson Aiden Stanley.

Survivors include her spouse, Greg Bean, to whom she was married on June 24, 2002 in Minnesota; three daughters, Ellen Angelo of Avon, New Jersey, April Stanley and husband Jason of Murray, Kentucky, Tammy Castro of Rock Island, Texas; one step-daughter, Nancie Bean of Hawaii; one step-son, Travis Bean and wife Katrina of Minnesota; four sisters, Dorothy Gregory of Charleston, Indiana; Joyce Devito of Thousand Oaks, California; Janice Jeffrey and husband Michael of Keyport, New Jersey and Marge Forman of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two brothers, Martin Starr and wife Janet of Keyport, New Jersey and Harold Starr and wife Judy of Port Charlotte, Florida; also surviving are ten grandchildren, Ali Vento, Tommy Angelo, Adam Castro, Sarah Castro, Ian Capshaw, Piper Bean, Fox Bean, Kiera Stanley, Trinity Stanley and Emma Dykes.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating.
