Mr. Henry Miller Blakely, age 80, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at his home.
Mr. Blakely was born May 8, 1939 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late Ralph Blakely and Beatrice Compton Blakely. Henry was a retired Truck Driver, a Veteran of the United States Air Force and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Benjamin Blakely Sr.; nephew, Ben Blakely Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Blakely of Murray, Kentucky they married September 5, 1959 in Calloway Co., Kentucky; three daughters, Sheila Jo Hart and husband Donnie of Murray, Kentucky, Beverly Williams and husband Jimmy of Murray, Kentucky and Sharon Kay Blakley and Jason Stambaugh of Bryan, Texas; two sisters, Betty Jo Kell of Hazel, Kentucky and Judith Ann Osborn of Paris, Tennessee; one brother, Ralph Blakely and wife Carol of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren, Alicia Thorne, Amanda Cox and husband Adam, Lee Hart, Chase Stone and wife Tiffany, Brandon Stone and wife Alyssa, Astoria Babcock and Ashton Babcock; eight great grandchildren, Felix Cox, Sadie Cox, Lola Thorne, Adonis Cox, Audi Cox, McKenzie Stone, Jase Stone and Hallie Stone.
Due to the Government restrictions, private graveside services will be held for Henry with burial in the Green Plain Cemetery.
