Herchell Wayne Robertson

Mr. Herchell Wayne Robertson, age 79, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mr. Robertson was born in Hilleman, Arkansas on April 11, 1935 to the late Euell Robertson and Estelle Chappel Robertson. Mr. Robertson was a retired carpenter. He was of the Baptist faith and attended the Northside Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by one sister, Kaye Russell; one brother, Jimmy Dale Robertson; two grandchildren, Timothy Pace and Stephen Milby; and one great grandchild, Seth Robertson.

Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Jeanne Futrell Robertson of Murray, Kentucky, to whom he married on June 30, 1955 in Murray, Kentucky; three daughters, Debbie Moreland and husband Brian of Wingo, Kentucky, Sandy Pace and husband Michael of Hardin, Kentucky and Barbara Harper and husband David Keeling of Murray, Kentucky; three sisters, Patsy Gaetano and husband Bill of Memphis, Tennessee, Lois Elkins and husband Jimmy of Murray, Kentucky and Faye Holley of Saraland, Alabama; two brothers, Gary Robertson and wife Sanda of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and John Delbert Robertson and wife Julie of Louisville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Brett Miles and Bro. Jimmy Stom officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
