Hilda M. McKenzie

Mrs. Hilda M. Rule McKenzie, age 85, of Murray, Kentucky, died, Monday, January 16, 2011 at 8:55 pm in the Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Born October 9, 1926 in Detroit, Mi., to the late William Rufus and Nora Mae Jones Rule, she was a retired seamstress and homemaker. Mrs. McKenzie was also a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Shelia Boggess (Tommy) of Murray, Ky., son, Rick McKenzie of Murray, Ky., brother, Gerald Rule (Shirley) of Murray, Ky., sister in law Marilyn Rule of Kirksey, Ky., three grandchildren, Tyler Boggess of Murray, Ky., Marcy O'Dell (Doug) of Murray, Ky., Carey Story (Isaiah) 0f Puryear, Tn., also great granddaughter, Hallie O'Dell of Murray, Ky., also several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd McKenzie, sisters, Ruby Humphrey, Imogene Williams, Maxine Breezeel, brothers, Leon and Eugene Rule.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 20, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, John Dale and Garry Evans will officiate and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
