Hoyland Jones

Mrs. Hoyland Jones, age 92, of Murray, Kentucky died on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
Mrs. Jones was born December 9, 1925 in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Conrad Taylor and Willie Marr Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Gene Jones; one sister, Jean Mitchell; three brothers, Cleo Taylor, Frank Taylor and Vernon Taylor.
Mrs. Jones was a retired church secretary and was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Ellis of Indianapolis, In.; one son, Alan Jones and wife Stacy of Franklin, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Carrie Dodd, Blake Jones, Shane Ellis, Shea Ellis, Shara Ellis and Shaun Ellis; five great grandchildren, Seth Ellis, Chelsea Shumaker, Owen Dodd, Emery Jones and Lucy Jones; one great great grandchild, Cole Shumaker.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. John Dale and Garry Evans will officiate, and the burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
