Mr. Hubert R. "Hugo" Barrow, age 82, of Hazel, Kentucky died Friday, October 17, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mr. Barrow was born in Stewart County Tennessee on July 15, 1932 to the late Henry and Lanie (Keeney) Barrow. Mr. Barrow was a professional gunsmith and retired from the Dana Corporation in Paris, Tennessee as a tool and dye maker. Mr. Barrow was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Hazel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents Mr. Barrow was preceded in death by two sisters, Lura Paschall and Lois Lancaster; and by two brothers, Bufford and Clifford Barrow.
Mr. Barrow is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anne Barrow of Hazel, Kentucky, to whom he married on September 1, 1956 in Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Jane Anne Barrow of Halifax, Pennsylvania; one son, Scott Barrow and wife Stephanie of Hazel, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Katlyn Barrow, Keeley Barrow and Chase Barrow all of Hazel, Kentucky; and by his nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale and Bro. Tim Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
