Hugh "Tommy" Carroll

Mr. Hugh Thomas "Tommy" Carroll, age 77 of Murray, Ky., died Friday, September 02, 2011 at Skyline Hospital in Nashville, Tn.
Mr. Carroll was born Nov. 15, 1933 in Calloway Co., Ky. He was a graduate of Murray High School, and was the former owner of Carroll Volkswagen. He was an Army veteran and a member of the First Baptist Church of Murray, Ky.
Survivors include a daughter, Tonya Morris and Husband Phil of Murray, Ky., one brother Ed Carroll of Murray, Ky., two grandchildren, Whitney Cooper and husband Mike of Murray, Ky., and Matthew Morris and wife Jessica of Murray, Ky., also one great grandchild, Madison Claire Morris of Murray, Ky., and a special friend, Betty Elkins of Murray, Ky.
Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Cole Carroll, parents, Walter and Minnie Vaughn Carroll, and son, Jason Cole Carroll.
Funeral service will be held Monday, September 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Murray, Ky., Entombment will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 4, 2011 from 4-9 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, and will be also held on Monday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church.
