Hugh Kimbro

Mr. Hugh Kimbro, age 72, of Fordsville, Kentucky, formerly of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Fordsville Nursing and Rehab.

          Mr. Kimbro was born on November 28, 1951, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late John Walter Kimbro and Carrie Luven Self. Hugh was a retired maintenance supervisor for Westview Nursing Home and a member of the Sinking Springs Baptist Church.

          Survivors include his wife, Janet Kimbro of Fordsville, Kentucky; five daughters, Lasey Jones of Louisville, Kentucky, Tracy Smith of Wartburg, Tennessee, Jennifer Kimbro of Wartburg, Tennessee, Hayden Ellis of Paris, Tennessee and Adrienne Riggs and husband Casey of Benton, Kentucky; one son, Brian Kimbro and wife Jada of Murray, Kentucky; step son, Matt Evans and wife Kasey of Paducah, Kentucky; sister, Debby Westbrook and husband William of Murray, Kentucky; also nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

          A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the Parker Cemetery. Rev. Randy Kuykendall will officiate, and burial will follow. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
