Ida Mae Finley

Mrs. Ida Mae Finley, age 89, of Murray, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 09, 2013 at her home.

She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church; she attended the Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing in Detroit Michigan, while attending she served in the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corp; She retired as a Registered Nurse at Straith Memorial Hospital in Detroit Michigan.

She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 3, 1923 to the late Carl and Sarah Margaret Bates Boerstler. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Abby Finley who died January 28, 2011; and one brother, Raymond Bramhall

She is survived by her daughter, Janeen Sutton of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, William Bramhall of Oceanside, California; one grandchild, Audree Franklin and husband Edward of Sandwich, Illinois; four great grandchildren, Hunter Franklin, Paige Franklin, Zoe Franklin, Devin Franklin all of Sandwich, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Bro Glynn Orr will officiate with burial taking place at a later date in the Cadillac Memorial Gardens in Mt Clemons, Michigan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am till funeral hour Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the funeral home.
