Imogene Etherton

Mrs. Imogene Etherton, age 84 of Murray, KY, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Etherton was born in Calloway County, KY on December 23, 1927 to the late Tolley Chrisman and Eural Crouse Chrisman. Mrs. Etherton was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murray.
Mrs. Etherton is survived by her husband, Robert Etherton of Murray, to whom she married on December 19, 1948 in Hazel, KY; two daughters, Kathy Goodman and husband Mark of Paducah,KY and Cindy McLaren and husband John of Murray; one son, Mike Etherton and wife Jean of Grand Rapids, MI; three sisters, Larue Mitchell of Murray, Hilda Berry of Jeffersonville, IN, and Julia Robertson and husband David of Summerville, SC; three brothers, Hugh Chrisman of Sedgewick, AR, William Max Chrisman and wife Dorothy of Great Falls, MT, Robert Stanley Chrisman and wife Pearl of Rochester, MI; as well as six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Boyd Smith officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
