Imogene Lampkins

Mrs. Imogene Lampkins age 95, of Murray, Kentucky, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.
Mrs. Lampkins was born February, 11, 1921 in Kirksey, Kentucky, to the late William Thomas Dulaney and Bertha May Norsworthy Dulaney. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church, and the Dorcus Sunday School class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Lampkins Jr.; two sons, David and Don Lampkins; two sisters, Dotty Lou Story and Lucille Darnell.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Lampkins of Hardin, Kentucky, and Dean Lampkins and wife Debbie of Mayfield, Kentucky; also seven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Murray City Cemetery. Bro. Ricky Cunningham will officiate, and burial will follow. Visitation will be held Monday, March 28, 2016 from 12-1 p.m., at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
