Inez Ellen Cantrell

Mrs. Inez Ellen Bohanan Cantrell, age 89, of Des Moines, Iowa died February 20, 2017 at the Sunrise of Westminster, in Westminster, Colorado.

Mrs. Cantrell was born February 6, 1928 in Pocahontas, Iowa to the late Howard Bohanan, and Ellen Thompson Bohanan. She was a retired Insurance Claim Clerk, homemaker, and member of the Grandview Park Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Cantrell; son, Daniel Cantrell; four sisters, Letha Grace Bohanan, Mary Lea Payne, Jody Johnson and Judy Shouse; brother, Russell Bohanan.

Survivors include two sons, Tim Cantrell of Murray, Kentucky and David Cantrell and wife Ione Montoya of Westminster, Colorado; four sisters, Patsy Carter, Ruth Haynes, Sally Bohanan and Peggy Manser; one brother, Ebb Bohanan; also, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren survive.

A Celebration of life will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Des Moines, Iowa.
