Mrs. Inez Cooper, age 95, of Clarksville Tennessee, formerly of the Lynn Grove community of Murray, Kentucky, died, Wednesday, September 07, 2011 at the Montgomery Care and Rehabilitation Center in Clarksville, Tennessee.
She was homemaker; she was a member of the Lynn Grove United Methodist Church.
She was born on September 4, 1916 in Lynn Grove, Kentucky, to the late Virgil and Lillian Irene Atkins Rogers. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Cooper, son, Max Cooper, three sisters, Velma Miller, Opha Krewson, Marie Jewell, brother, Kelton Rogers.
She is survived by two daughters, Glinda Manning and husband Max of Clarksville, Tennessee, Deanna Gholson and husband Bob of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; son, Roger Cooper and wife Mary Janice of Florence, South Carolina; sister, Jean Bahr of Houston, Texas; brother, Ronald Rogers and wife Janice of Murray, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Wendy Lipscomb, Christi Richardson, Celena Keel, Natalie Hinton, Shauna Dukes, Kristi Wolfe; thirteen great grandchildren, Owen Lipscomb Jr., Warren Lipscomb, Nate Richardson, Wade Richardson, Gabriel Hinton, Hunter Keel, Tanner Keel, Alayna Wolfe, Alexey Wolfe, Brynlee Wolfe, Fletcher Dukes, Andy Dukes.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Salem Cemetery with Rev. Jim Hofley officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, September 9, 2011 from 4:00 – 7:00 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
